June 18th - Summer reading program at the Deer Park Library begins.
July 12th, 10:00 a.m. All-parish service & picnic (Deer Park, Clear Lake, Forest) of the United Methodist Church at the Deer Park Village Park.
August 2 - 6, St. Paul Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School
Coming in late summer - The DPFD run/walk!

North Country 4-H put up their fair sign up on Saturday, June 20. Fun in Our Own Backyard is the County Theme this year. Thanks to the 4-H Dads for their hard work putting up the sign. The sign is located at the intersection of County Road H and State Highway 46. -Photo by Cheryl Kemling
Dairy Days

North Country celebrated June Dairy Days on Friday, June 27 by serving root beer floats and giving away Milk Marketing Board promotional items; erasers, color books, and balloons.

The North Country 4-H Club meets the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the basement at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Fun, games, community service, and planning for the fair are just some of the things the club enjoys!

Now online- a special file on the Gilstad Family, William and Martha, Main Street business people, Bertha, a familiar face at church functions, Hans, a Civil War Veteran, and Marie, mother of his 12 children. The Gilstad family records are updated and there is a new obituary file with photos dating from the 1800's including Civil War Veteran Hans C.A. Gilstad.
